On June 13, the Ukrainian-German Defense Industries Forum took place in Berlin, Germany. The forum is a continuation of a series of defense industry events, starting with the first International Defense Industry Forum DFNC1, which was held in Kyiv on September 29, 2024.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine in collaboration with the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the Federal Association of the German Security and Defense Industry (BDSV), the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Federal Government of Germany.
More than 100 participants attended the forum, including representatives from 34 Ukrainian and 32 German companies, BDI, BDSV, the German Aerospace Industries Association, and government officials from both countries.
The forum was opened by Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin, and President of BDI Siegfried Russwurm.
The second part of the forum featured B2B sessions.
